Gerry Borreggine is the President and CEO of Therapedic International, and has been at the helm of the group for 14 years. Prior to that, he was the president of 40 Winks, Inc., a 23-store sleep shop chain headquartered in the Philadelphia market.
During his tenure at Therapedic, the company has grown to more than 50 licensees that manufacture product under the Therapedic brand.
“I am blessed to work with a company that operates like a family,” said Borreggine. “Family business is my heritage, so working with this group is a great fit,” he added.
Borreggine has been involved in the International Sleep Products Association for more than 20 years. He has served as chairman of the Better Sleep Council, and is the past chairman of the ISPA Board of Directors.
Borreggine is a graduate of Rutgers University. He and his wife, Regina, who is a special education teacher, live in Brigantine, N.J. They have two children, a daughter, Kristin, 35, who is a resident doctor of psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic; and a son, Kyle, 32, who is a key account manager for Protect-a-Bed.
